Robert de Sigello was a medieval Bishop of London and Lord Chancellor of England.

Life

He was keeper of the king's seal, usually known as Lord Chancellor from 1131 to 1135.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 82]

He was nominated to the see of London by the Empress Matilda [http://british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=33800 British History Online Bishops of London] accessed on October 28, 2007] and consecrated about 1141.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 239] He died in 1150, and as his death was commemorated on both September 28 and September 29, he probably died on one of those dates in 1150.
