Northam Western AustraliaNationality Australian Political party Australian Labor Party Profession Teacher David Alan Templeman was born 21 November 1965 in Northam Western Australia. He has been a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly representing the electorate of Mandurah after winning the seat in the 2001 election defeating Roger Keith Nicholls.[1]
In 1994, he was elected to the Mandurah City Council, where he served as Deputy Mayor from 1997 until 2001.
In 2001, he was elected to state parliament, and was subsequently re-elected in 2005. In March 2007, he was given his current role as Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and the Peel Region.
