He is part of the Mexican team that made history by winning the U-17 World Cup in 2005 along with great upcoming stars likeGiovanni dos Santos andCarlos Vela . He was slowly winning a permanent spot on his current team, Cruz Azul but he suffered a dramatic fracture while attempting to recover a ball for his team and twisted his ankle. After many months of recovery, he returned to the field in 2007 and has become an important starting eleven player on the team.Honours
