Julian Harston

Julian J.R.C. Harston (Born 20 October 1942 in Nairobi, Kenya) is the Special Representative of the Secretary-General heading MINURSO. He completed his secondary education at The King's School in Canterbury, England. After which he earned a Bachelors of Science in Politics from the University of London and a degree in African Politics from the University of Rhodesia. He has spent more than 20 years in various diplomatic positions. Harston has published several papers on peacekeeping and international diplomacy. He is married with one son.
