Julian J.R.C. Harston (Born
20 October 1942 inNairobi ,Kenya ) is the Special Representative of the Secretary-General headingMINURSO . He completed his secondary education at The King's School inCanterbury ,England . After which he earned aBachelors of Science inPolitics from theUniversity of London and a degree inAfrica n Politics from theUniversity of Rhodesia . He has spent more than 20 years in various diplomatic positions. Harston has published several papers on peacekeeping and international diplomacy. He is married with one son.Publications
