Tom is a starving cat in ancient
Greece who lives in the shadows of theAcropolis . He spies Jerry, a rich mouse living in a luxurious mouse hole, and attempts to catch him by reaching into his mouse hole in the back of theAcropolis . After a couple of failed attempts, he decides to try to enter the Acropolis, despite a sign hanging out front which states "No Cats Allowed." He eventually succeeds in sneaking into the Acropolis, but is no more successful in catching Jerry.In the end, Jerry sends a chariot Tom is on out the front steps of the Acropolis.
