Blue Yonder Films

Blue Yonder Films, is a film production company based in Los Angeles, and is the creator of the animated motion picture "Hoodwinked!" (2006). Currently they have two films that are in production called 'Escape From Plant Earth' scheduled for release in 2009 and the sequel to Hoodwinked entitled 'Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs Evil' scheduled for release 15th January 2010. Blue Yonder also has two other projects it working on entitled 'Dragons' and 'Digging to China'.

History

Blue Yonder was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1996, by brothers Cory and Todd Edwards and Preston Stutzman.

Its first production was a 6-minute short film called "Swanky Nights" in 1996. This was followed in 1997 by a full-length feature, "Chillicothe," shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 1999. "Hoodwinked!" followed in 2006.
