Air Somalia (founded in 1962 byAir France and Les Messageries Maritimes) took over the previous Air Djibouti (formed in 1963). Shareholding was reorganized following independence in June 1977. The airline was reorganized in 1997 as Air Djibouti (Red Sea Airlines).Services
Air Djibouti operated international scheduled passenger and cargo services from Djibouti to
