Paul Kaiwi

Paul A. Kaiwi, Jr. (born August 15, 1969) is Founder and Senior Pastor of New Life Christian Church on Maui, Hawaii. Up to date, he has overseen three church plants since the beginning of the fellowship in April 2005. Kaiwi's communication style is a mixture of motivation and comedy to produce practical messages of God's love. He specializes in using every day examples and illustrations to relate to Bible principles.

Biography

Kaiwi was born to Paul A. Kaiwi, Sr. and Geraldine (Castro) Kaiwi of Hana, Maui, where he grew up and attended High school. He served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1990, and married his wife, Shawn (Dryer), in 1988. Kaiwi attended School of the Prophets bible school in Copperas Cove, Texas, then received his Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1997. In 2002, he received his Medical Degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine and entered into the University of Hawaii Family Practice Residency program. He returned to his hometown Hana, Maui where he currently has a full-time, General Practice medical clinic.

Family

Paul and his wife Shawn have five children Paul III, Charity, Laule'a, Mana'olana, and Stephen. The family resides in Hana, Maui.
