Thoroughbred racehorse, winner of theEpsom Derby in 1988.Kahyasi was trained by
Luca Cumani during his racing career and was ridden byRay Cochrane to a length-and-a-half victory over Glacial Storm in the Epsom Classic.He went on the win the Irish Derby but was retired after finishing sixth to Tony Bin in the
Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe .At stud, he sired five Group winners.
Owned and bred by the Aga Khan, he undertook stud duties at the Aga's Haras de Bonneval stud in Normandy until June 2008 when he was put down at the age of 23 after being diagnosed as suffering from a tumour.
