IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal
- IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal
The IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal was instituted by the IEEE Board of Directors in 1976, commemorating the centennial of the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. It honors outstanding contributions in the field of telecommunications. It may be presented to an individual, or to a team of two or three. The award consists of a gold medal, bronze replica, certificate, and honorarium.
