United States Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 0.5square mile s (1.4km² ), all of it land.Demographics
As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 547 people, 199 households, and 159 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 1,036.2 people per square mile (398.5/km²). There were 225 housing units at an average density of 426.2/sq mi (163.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 89.58% White, 1.46% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.18% Pacific Islander, 7.86% from other races, and 0.73% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.78% of the population.There were 199 households out of which 44.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.3% were married couples living together, 9.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.1% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the town the population was spread out with 31.4% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 17.4% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 91.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.3 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $40,833, and the median income for a family was $44,083. Males had a median income of $32,250 versus $20,417 for females. The

In 2005, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture began a program to make Reynolds an energy self-sufficient community, able to subsist almost entirely on locally produced alternative energy. Called "BioTown, USA", the pilot project involved converting local vehicles to run on
