Innherad

Innherred (also spelled Innherad) is a traditional district in the central part of Norway, consisting of the municipalities of Levanger, Frosta, Steinkjer, Snåsa, Verdal, Inderøy, Mosvik and Verran. The district is only geographical; not administrative nor juridical. This forms the southern part of the county of Nord-Trøndelag, except for the southernmost part; the district of Stjørdalen.
