The UK terminal of the Interconnector gas pipeline is located to the west of the parish, straddling the boundary with the adjoining parish of Paston. In the east of the parish can be found the ruined Cluniac
Bromholm Priory .The civil parish has an area of 9.45 km² and in the 2001 census had a population of 1,130 in 474 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of
