- Sunpu Domain
The nihongo|Sunpu Domain|駿府藩|Sunpu han was a "han" or Japanese
feudal domain that existed briefly during the earlyEdo period and earlyMeiji era in what is today the city of Shizuoka inShizuoka Prefecture ,Japan . In 1869 the domain was renamed nihongo|Shizuoka Domain|静岡藩.The domain was established in 1609 by
Tokugawa Ieyasu 's tenth son Yorinobu. It was disbanded in 1619 when Yorinobu moved toWakayama to found theKishu Domain . In 1624Tokugawa Hidetada 's third son Tadanaga reestablished the domain when he moved fromKai Province . After Iemitsu, Tadanaga's brother, becameshogun , the domain came under the direct administration of the shogunate.The domain also existed from 1868 to 1871 with income of 700,000
koku . It was ruled by the former Tokugawa shogunal family.List of rulers
