dandelion . They are native to western North America. They are sometimes called mountain dandelions or goat chicory. Like dandelions the stalks are juicy with milky sap, the flower heads are made up of many yellow florets, and the seeds are borne in a globe ofachene s each with a white silky pappus.Selected species:
