- All-Around Cowboy
The designation of All-Around Cowboy (or Cowgirl competing in rodeos sanctioned for female competitors) is the award given to the competitor who wins the most money in two or more events in rodeo. There are individual awards given out at rodeos as well as the crowning of a world champion at the conclusion of the tenth and final round of the
PRCA National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada every December. In Canada, under the rules set forth by the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association [http://www.rodeocanada.com/] , in order for a competitor to win the all-around crown, one must compete in a rough stock and timed event in order to be eligible for the top prize in Canada.Trevor Brazile of
Decatur, Texas currently holds the single season record for the most money won in a season at $329,924 during the 2006 campaign. [http://www.prorodeo.com/Records.aspx?xu=1]
