(A.Chev) Pierre ex DubardTieghemella heckelii (also called Baku or Cherry Mahogany) is a species of plant in the Sapotaceae family. It is found in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. It is threatened by habitat loss.
It is a timber tree. Often up to 45 meters tall and 1.2 meters thick.
