Digital dictation software

Digital dictation software comes in a number of forms. It can be a standalone product or part of a proprietary workflow system.

Platforms for digital dictation software include Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Pocket PC and Palm Pilots.

Recordings can be made over the telephone, on a computer or via a hand held dictation device that is "docked" to a computer.
