March 24 ,1978 inRýmařov ) is a Czech football defender, who is signed to Spanish clubAtlético Madrid in the SpanishLa Liga . He is married to former Miss Czech Republic,Kateřina Ujfaluši .Previously, Ujfaluši was with Sigma Olomouc (1997-2000), Hamburg (2001-04) and Fiorentina (2004-2008).
He played for the Czech Republic at the 2004 European Championship, 2006 World Cup and 2008 European Championship. In this last championship he was named man of the game in the first game of the championship against Switzerland.
