Canadian Agriculture Safety Association

The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA), based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is the federal Canadian organization for improving the health and safety conditions of those who live and work on Canadian farms.

CASA was established in 1993 by a coalition of agencies including The Centre for Agricultural Medicine, the University of Saskatchewan; the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, Farm Safety Association Inc. (Ontario) and New Holland Canada Ltd., in addition to representatives from farm organizations, industry, the research community and preventive agencies.

The organization works with agricultural safety and health specialists and producers in all provinces and territories to promote health and safety on Canadian farms and ranches.
