Reruns of the show currently air in syndication as part of the Cookie Jar Kids Network block.[3] This show was the last series produced by DIC before Cookie Jar's acquisition of DIC. The show was about five teenagers, each with the power to turn into a respective dinosaur. They use this power to fight the villainous Victor Veloci, who is intent on returning the world to the age of dinosaurs by turning humans into new mutant dinosaurs and accelerating global warming.

Show summary
Five teenagers, Roger, Max, Caruso, Fiona and Buzz, gain the power to turn into dinosaurs by getting covered in ooze that mutated their DNA on a school field trip. With the help of their mysterious science teacher, Ms. Moynihan (who is an anthropomorphic velociraptor), they learn to use their unique abilities to protect the planet from Victor Veloci. Victor is widely known as the head of company Raptor Dyne, but is also a 65 million-year-old anthropomorphic velociraptor. His secret identity is unknown to everyone except himself and the audience. His true plan is to turn everyone into dinosaurs and increase the climate to that of the Mesozoic era with the goal of returning the world to how it was when dinosaurs ruled. However, his plans always backfired and thus the return to the age of the dinosaurs was never meant to be. Dino Squad is set in Kittery Point, Maine. Season 2 episodes began airing online on August 4, 2008 before airing on CBS on September 13, 2008.
Dino Squad Members
- Ms. Moynihan (Joanne Moynihan) - A science teacher who is an anthropomorphic Velociraptor. She can communicate telepathically with the teens.
- Max (Rolf Maxwell) - A hunky 18-year old high school senior in Ms. Moynihan's class. He is the team leader and captain of the football team. He has a crush on Fiona, but doesn't try to show it. His Dino form is a Tyrannosaurus rex (however, his Tyrannosaurus form has three fingers, whereas a real Tyrannosaurus has two). Max is voiced by Ian Eli Lee.
- Caruso (Irwin Caruso) - Another handsome high school senior in Ms. Moynihan's class. He is vain and obsessed with the idea of fame. He is obsessed with his "good looks". He can be a pain sometimes though as his selfishness and arrogance hurt the team. Though he did prove himself worthy to the squad in episode 23. In that same episode he is revealed to have created his own line of moisturizers. He also practices yoga. His Dino form is a Stegosaurus (although his dino form has five tail spikes and no beak, unlike the real Stegosaurus). Caruso is voiced by Benjamin Beck.
- Fiona (Fiona Flagstaff) - Another high school senior in Ms. Moynihan's class. She is the only girl on the Squad (with the exception of Ms. Moynihan), and has a penchant for fast things like rollerblades or race cars. Ironically what grosses out Fiona entices Buzz (bugs, insects, cockroaches,etc.). She is allergic to spider bites (watch episode Never Judge a Dinosaur by its cover). Fiona is the squad's resident mechanic and gearhead, and is also a tomboy. Max and Buzz may have a crush on her, but she doesn't seem to notice. Her Dino form is a Spinosaurus.Fiona has a little sister called Terry. Fiona is voiced by Dana Donlan.
- Roger (Roger Blair) - Another high school senior in Ms. Moynihan's class. He is very smart and has a prankster streak. He is able to come up with gadgets even though his creations sometimes fail. Is somewhat arrogant like Caruso but helps the team when duty calls. He has a little brother named Mikey. His Dino form is a Styracosaurus (although unlike the real Styracosaurus, Roger's dino form has three horns like a Triceratops, which also appears on the show). Roger is voiced by Kelcey Watson.
- Buzz (Neil Buzmati) - Another high school senior in Ms. Moynihan's class. He is 17 going on 18, and is the youngest member. He's the "punk" kid, who is scared of his own shadow. Several times throughout the series, he also shows affection for small creatures traditionally considered "gross" in European culture, such as rats, snakes, cockroaches, and spiders. Buzz is anything but a coward when he is needed in action. He has a crush on Fiona and her sister Terri appeared to have a crush on Buzz in her first appearance. His alternate form, a Pteranodon, is one of the two non-dinosaurs in the DinoSquad.
- Rump - The DinoSquad's mischievous pet dog. He can transform himself into a strange animal that looks like a hybrid between a pig and a horse. The DinoSquad as of yet has not determined the species of dinosaur his "dino form" is supposed to be (although since Ms. Moynihan never "taught" him how to control his transformations as she did the kids, it's likely his dino form is mostly canine and it bears a resemblance to Andrewsarchus). Rump usually gives Caruso a hard time from when he took his jacket in "The Beginning" as a stray dog, up until the episode "Runaway Ugly" when he ate Caruso's cupcake.
Supporting characters
- Terri - Fiona's brainy but sometimes annoying little sister. At first she is jealous of Fiona. She appears in 3 episodes (A Mole Lotta Trouble, Wannabe, and Never Judge a Dinosaur by its Cover). Although she may be as intellectual as Roger, she has also exercised substandard judgment—Terri is voiced by Sarah Heinke
Raptor Dyne
- Victor Veloci - An business magnate who owns Raptor Dyne. He wants to revert the world back to the way it was over 65 million years ago. His dino form is a Velociraptor. He and Ms. Moynihan were the only survivors of the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs.
- Henchman - There are multiples of this character. In episode 23, Caruso dresses up as one to fake out Veloci's real henchmen

Season 1
1. The Beginning
Five highschoolers on a class field trip to find aquatic animals at the beach, help a dog who stole one of the students jackets and is about to drown. The five highschoolers (and the dog) get covered in orange ooze, and they transform into: The Dino Squad!
2. Growth Potential
Roger feels like he isn't respected until Veloci oozes a Triassic-era creeping vine and deposits it in Kittery Point. Now Roger must stop the monstrous mutation before it envelops all of Kittery Point and all the people (and dinosaurs [Max, Buzz, Fiona, and Caruso]). Max goes dino in front of couple.

Caruso uses his dino powers to help him join a collouge football team, but Veloci gets attracted by the activity.
5. Who Let the Dog Out?
When Caruso keeps asking help from his friends, he decides not to ask help. Even when Rump decides to go exploring outside the lighthouse, he rufues to ask help and because of that, Max, Roger, and Fiona gets captured by Veloci; leaving Buzz, Caruso, and Rump to save them.
6. Bully-4-U
When Buzz gets constantly bullied, he feels bad and tries to change his personality.
7. The Lost Wide Web
Buzz makes himself a target when he tells an online friend about himself, who happens to be Veloci.

8. Headline Nuisance
Caruso on his quest for fame, watches a reporter reporting on a fake dinosaur sighting. The DinoSquad goes to a mission while Caruso interfers when he calls the dinosaur reporter on TV.
9. Who'll Stop the Rain?
The evil doctor Victor Veloci develops a plan to turn everyone to change/mutate back to the prehistoric era.
10. Zoom in on Zoom
Buzz alters a photo of himself, but the light house was caught in the shot. The Dino Squad have to get it back before it gets sold to Veloci.
11. A Mole Lotta Trouble
When Fiona and her family's field trip goes arwy with mutant moles, she calls the DinoSquad for help.
12. The Not so Great Outdoors
Veloci infected some moose in the deep woods and the DinoSquad has to stay overnight in the "creepy" forest.
13. Pet Peeve
When Caruso decides to make himself famous by buying animals and putting on a show, what he doesn't know is that Dr. Veloci's henchmen have infected the animals with ooze.
Season 2
14. The World According to Liam A boy called liam who has a sickeness and is classiefed as werid and max trys to make friends but veloci has released giant bees on kittery point. Liam also finds out about the dinosquad.
15. Runa Way Ugly
16. Attack of the Brain-A-Saurus Roger plays lots of jokes on his friends.
17. Wannabe
18. Fire and Ice Max get sick and is captured by velci! 19. Never Judge a Dinosaur by its Cover
When Veloci's henchmen released a mutant spider into Fiona's neighbor's house, the Dino Squad goes in to help. But soon Fiona is poisoned by the mutant spider and she's trapped inside with Veloci lurking around.
20. Easy Riders and Raging Dinos Max and Causo have a war in the middle of a mission 21. Once Percent inspiration
On earth day, Roger and Fiona engage in a competition of racing with eco-friendly material, until Veloci releases mutant locusts.
22. Howa Loa Can you Goa?
The Dino Squad head to Hawaii to capture Veloci's mutant earth worms before Velcoi turns Hawaii to a breeding ground.

26. The Trojan Dinosaur
Ms. Moynihan gets captured by Veloci when she tries to save the dino squad. Now the dino squad has to save her using their knowlodge they learned from school. They decided to sneak in Fiona the Spinosaurus as bait (with Max, Roger, and Buzz hidden in a capartment in the cage; Caruso is pretending to be a salesman to trick Veloci to buy Fiona)!
