Colonel Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade , released byPrawn Song Records on10 April 2001 . It chronicles the first part of the8 October 2000 show the Frog Brigade played at the Great American Music Hall inSan Francisco , the second part released asLive Frogs Set 2 . It is primarily composed of originals by the various side projects of Claypool and his fellow band members, sandwiched by two covers.Featuring legendary bassist
Les Claypool , original Primus (and later, Sausage) membersTodd Huth andJay Lane ,Jeff Chimenti on keyboards, Eenor ("the world's first guitar playing redwood tree") on guitar, and saxaphonistSkerik , this jam album does not completely revolve around the bass of Claypool. The seven song set, featuring thePink Floyd classic "Shine On You Crazy Diamond ", keeps the jam session going for at least 5 minutes a song, rotating solos between Claypool, Huth, Chimenti, Eenor and Skerik.Track listing

1. Thela Hun Ginjeet: A cover of the
King Crimson classic, and the longest song on the album, it is dominated by solos by each member of the band. First, Skerik provides a saxophone solo, followed by a keyboard solo by Chimenti. A guitar solo follows, and it is all capped off by an effects-laden bass part by Claypool.2. Riddles Are Abound Tonight: Originally recorded by Sausage, it too is extended with solos. Near its end, Claypool belts out his trademark silly vocals.
3. Hendershot: Originally recorded by Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel, featuring a "surf saxophone" solo by Skerik.
4. Shattering Song: Originally recorded by Sausage, its quiet midsection has a short snippet of "
Riders on the Storm " byThe Doors .5. Running The Gauntlet: Originally recorded by Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel.
6. Girls For Single Men: Originally recorded by Sausage.
7. A cover of Jack Irons' version of
Shine On You Crazy Diamond (essentially, a restructuring of parts I-V), it too is marked by numerous instrumental breaks for each band member. It ends Set 1, with Claypool announcing first a 20 minute break, and then "more Pink Floyd than any human being should ever withstand", (a performance of Animals in its entirety), released asLive Frogs Set 2 .Chart performance
