The Etivluk River is a
river in the state ofAlaska . A part of the river has been identified as one of the most remote locations in Alaska, a full 120 miles from the nearest towns of Ambler and Atqasuk and farther from any other settled area in the state. Nigtun Lake and flows in a generally northern direction before joining the Colville River. TheNigu River flows into the Etivluk near its headwater, and the joined rivers are sometimes referred to as the Etivluk-Nigu River.
