He has taught Hebrew,Arabic , and English. As well as living in Baghdad, he also lived inJerusalem ,London ,Johannesburg , andNew York . He isAssociate Member of the Columbia University Seminar onShakespeare and Fellow of theRoyal Asiatic Society .
