Logan grew up between New Jersey, Mississippi and California. His parents are Irish immigrants. The youngest of 3 children, he has an older brother and sister. He attended
Northwestern University , graduating in 1983. He worked as a playwright inChicago before turning to screenwriting. One of his plays, "Never the Sinner", tells the story of the infamousLeopold and Loeb case. He has a nephew named Colin, and a nephew named Armin.Notable screenplays
