Alannah Joan Geraldine Cecilia MacTiernan (born 10 January 1953) in East Melbourne, Victoria is an Australian politician. She has been an ALP member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since February 2001, representing the electorate of Armadale. She was Minister for Planning and Infrastructure in the West Australian government from 2001 to 2008.

She has represented the seat of Armadale in the Western Australian legislative assembly since 1996.She graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Law/Arts double-degree. She started her career with the Commonwealth Government, in the area of Aboriginal employment and training.She was elected to the Perth City Council in 1988, where she stayed until 1994. In 1993, she was elected as the member for the East Metropolitan region in the Western Australian Legislative Council.
