Transportation
There are buses to Derby,
Ockbrook , Spondon,Ilkeston , Draycott, Risley andNottingham .To the south of the village there was once a railway station (
Borrowash railway station opened by theMidland Railway ) and theDerby Canal with two locks. The station was built in 1839 and closed to passengers in 1966.
