Joe Sellwood

Joe Sellwood (24 January 1911 – 18 October 2007) was a New Zealand born [ [http://www.fullpointsfooty.net/sa-sm.htm Sa-Se ] ] Australian rules football player, playing 181 games from 1930-1945. Sellwood, recruited from Wunghnu Football Club was part of the Geelong Football Club 1937 premiership team.cite news

Prior to his death in 2007, at 96 years old, he was recognised as the oldest VFL/AFL premiership player and was given honorary induction into the AFL 200 Club, because his career suffered significant interruption during World War II, preventing him from reaching 200 games.cite news
