The "Nino Martoglio International book award" - won by authors like Giuseppe Bonaviri (in 1989), Gesualdo Bufalino (in 1990), Andrea Camilleri (in 1998), Vincenzo Consolo (in 1999) - , was established in 1987 in Belpasso, a little town of Sicily (Italy).
