Stuart Pettman (born April 24, 1975) is an English professional snooker player. The ginger-haired Preston native has qualified for the World Championship twice, in 2003 and 2004, beating 2005 champion Shaun Murphy in the latter. He had ten last-32 defeats before he first reached the last 16 of a ranking event. He has now reached the last 16 three times, without progressing further.

He has spent 3 seasons in the top 48 of the rankings to date. He started 2007/2008 strongly, reaching the last 16 of the opening Shanghai Masters (winning 4 matches before benefitting from Ronnie O'Sullivan's withdrawal) and then qualifying for the final stages of the Grand Prix by winning all 7 group games.
