Indian National Pledge

The Indian National Pledge is an oath of allegiance to the Republic of India. It is commonly recited by Indians in unison at public events, especially in schools, and during the Independence Day and Republic Day Celebrations.

:India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters.:I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.:I shall always strive to be worthy of it.:I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders, respect, and treat everyone with courtesy.:To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion.:In their well being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.

JAI HINDભારત મારો દેશ છે।

બધા ભારતીયો મારા ભાઈ બહેનો છે

હું મારા દેશને ચાહું છું અને તેના સમૃદ્ધ અને

વૈવિધ્યપૂર્ણ વારસાનો મને ગર્વ છે।

હું સદાય તેને લાયક બનવા પ્રયત્ન કરીશ।

હું મારા માતાપિતા શિક્ષકો અને વડીલો પ્રત્યે આદર રાખીશ

અને દરેક જણ સાથે સભ્યતાથી વર્તીશ।

હું મારા દેશ અને દેશબાંધવોને મારી નિષ્ઠા અર્પું છું।
