Tip Tipping

Tip Tipping

Timothy Tipping (February 13, 1958 – February 5, 1993), better known as Tip Tipping, was a British movie stuntman and was at one time an SBS soldier and British Royal Marine. He appeared in television series including "Doctor Who" and "The Bill", and films including "Never Say Never Again" (1983), "Batman" (1989), "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" (1989) and a credited role as Private Crowe in "Aliens" (1986).

Tip Tipping walked off one Doctor Who story, "Survival" because the stunt legend Eddie Kidd was apparently not a member of the actors' union Equity.

Tipping died on February 5, 1993, aged 34, in a parachuting accident near Alnwick, Northumberland in England, filming the BBC programme "999".
