College of Osteopaths


The College of Osteopaths dates from 1948 and provides training leading to a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy. The degree course is designed in part-time mode and spans five years. It is validated by two separate universities and thus, uniquely, offered in two locations in the United Kingdom. One programme of study is in collaboration with Middlesex University and is centred around Borehamwood In Hertfordshire and the second in collaboration with Keele University and is based in Staffordshire. The Middlesex degree holds Recognised Quality (RQ) with the regulating Osteopathic body The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Keele degree is currently in the process of gaining RQ status.
