Early Childhood
Diyan is surrounded with music since his childhood - his father is musician and also fan of bands such as
Deep Purple , Scorpions and Foreigner. Diyan grows up with the rock music and soon begins writing his own songs. He takes place in many school concerts, performing covers of popular Bulgarian songs.The First Inspiration - "Black & White" (2005)
. The first idea - NightvisioN is ruined, when Diyan finds out that there is existing Finnish band, called the same. So he soon found a new one - N-visioN. This is how he describes the name in an interviw for the Greek music magazine FMM:
"N-visioN is my other self. In English language the unknown subjects are marked with X. In Bulgarian they're marked with N. That's the sense - The skill to see beyond the "N"-things - the same we usually see, but don't quite understand." [ [http://myfmm.tv/Nvision/ N-visioN's FMM Profile] ]
Then, at the 1st of December, that is the World Day Against AIDS, N-visioN releases his first album - "Black & White" and the same evening performs "Smyrt", "Edni Ochi" (An Eyes) and a
Metallica cover - "Nothing Else Matters " at the biggest disco-club in Pleven - "Anaconda 2". This is followed by many appearances at different stages around Pleven. In May 2006 N-visioN shoots his first video and releases a single - "Enigma". The video is more like a slideshow with many effects, but it's accepted, because of the song... It becomes N-visioN's first real hit-single.The Aftermath - "Optimum" (2006)
Few months after the release of his first single, N-visioN begins working on a new album with the working title "Cold Day In Hell". It is meant to include some material, that didn't took place in "Black & White". But then, after an accuse of pessimism he writes some songs as "Ptichka" (Bird), "Kralicata Na Noshta" (Queen Of The Night) and "Samo Moya" (Only Mine). He gets a present - the song "Bezmulven" (Speechless) from a friend - Monika Nikolova - self-proved poetess, that wrote also the lyrics of "Smyrt". In August 2006, N-visioN meets a girl, who he thinks is the love of his life. But soon he finds out that not everything is as good as it looks. He writes the other songs for her - "Angel Na Mraka" (Angel Of Darkness), "Alone", "Okovani" (Chained) and "Kogato Te Nyama" (When You're Not Here). When she leaves him, N-visioN is crushed and begins working on the album more than ever. In just three days he makes the music, the records and the mixing. The final name of the album is "Optimum", because of the optimal power of the pain that he feels. The cover art shows a fallen angel - drinking vodka and smoking, with tattoos and shadows under his eyes. Despite of being so painful, N-visioN says that it's his greatest album. In an interview he says:
"Optimum" is my favorite album. It bears so much pain and feeling of suffer. The inspiration for the album is a girl, called Liliya, that hurt me so bad that even now I can't reject it. "
Just a year after his first album, N-visioN releases the second single - "Angel Na Mraka" (1st Of December 2006)... The video is made as the first N-visioN video, but is more deep and introverted.
The Waking Up - "N-OIR" (2007)
After that, N-visioN goes to casting for the Bulgarian "
Music Idol ", but has been rejected. He begins working on new album, called "N-OIR"... Changes his image, and begins to make different music. At the 10th of March 2007, N-visioN and his band, called " [BLANK] " then, takes place in an acoustic concert, where they play two covers - "Running Blind" byGodsmack and "Nothing Else Matters " byMetallica . The third single from "Optimum" - "Okovani" (Chained) is out at the 24st of April 2007, just a week before the release of the new album... The album and the artist are appreciated by the US-Bulgarian band "Voice Of Glass". In the video for the first single from "N-OIR" - "Onazi Liubov" (Those Love), N-visioN wears T-shirt with the "Voice Of Glass" logo on it, revealing it on the stage, under tha black leather jacket. On the 19th of August 2007 N-visioN releases his new video - to the song "Ranen" (Wounded), that is the second single from "N-OIR". Now N-visioN works on new single and new album... The single is called "Nevinna" (Innocent) and the working title of the album is "Nayave & Nasyn" (Awake & Asleep).
