Vision International College

Vision International College was founded in 1974 in Launceston, Tasmania by Australian theologian and author, Dr Ken Chant. Now located outside of Sydney, Australia in Macquarie Fields, New South Wales, the college provides vocational ministry training by distance education with an emphasis on Community Service. The Rev. Denis Plant, M.Th. now serves as the principal of the college.

Academics

Vision International College is a Registered Training Organisation in Australia and accredited by the New South Wales Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB), which is part of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Vision International College offers the vocational training awards of Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma [ [http://www.vision.edu/institutions/vic/accreditation.asp] "Vision International College Accreditation (official site)"] .

Partnerships

Vision International College maintains a partnership with Vision International University in the United States of America to offer students a pathway of learning from vocational training to an academic degree. Students who have earned a 3-year Advanced Diploma from Vision International College may gain admission into the Bachelor's Degree Completion program of Vision International University. Vision International College offers its programs as part of the consortium of distance education of the Vision International Education Network.

Vision International College maintains a strong commitment to vocational ministry training within the local context of the student. While the curriculum is deep-rooted in a Pentecostal-Charismatic heritage, it remains open-ended and adaptable to any immediate cultural and theological context. Vision International College also maintains the Internet Bible College, an Internet-based option of study for its students.
