Vladimir Grjonko

Vladimir Grjonko (born 1960 in Baku, Azerbaijan) is a Russian-American author. He began writing at a very young age, and his first written play was debuted in 1974 at the Baku Puppet Theater. In 1988, he began a theater company in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where he wrote and directed numerous plays, and simultaneously, wrote short stories and screen plays. After moving to New York City in 1990, he was not able to continue his passion until 2001, when his first novel, "The House", was published by the Russian publishing company, Limbus Press. In 2004, his second novel, "The Wedding" was published Amphora Publishers. His third novel, "A Doorway for the Butterfly" was accepted for publishing by Fluid Publishing House, and was released in September 2007 in Moscow, Russia. He has also finished two other books, both detective stories, which are yet to be published. Aside from his work on novels, he also works at the Radio Station "Bce". He also has written more than 60 short stories for the magazines "Metro" and "Bce".
