Aaroh is the band's first studio album. It was produced by the band's guitarist,Nabeel Nihal Chishty . The album was sponsored byPepsi sinceAaroh won the Battle of the Bands competition which was held inKarachi . The album was received well by both fans and critics.Concept
The album has a loose concept which
Nabeel Nihal Chishty described as “The album basically leans towards the romantic side. The lyrics deal with the different emotions a person goes through while in love. It is quite varied. There is darkness, there is subtlety and there is also forthrightness.”Music
The album's musical style varies from
power ballads such as Na Kaho to more progressive songs such as Zarb. Almost all the tracks feature the keyborad player,Kami . All of the tracks also feature a 12 stringguitar , anelectric guitar and a guitar solo. There are also two instrumenal tracks on the album, Zarb and Hoor. Thebass guitar also stands out in that it does a bit more than just play bass notes.Videos
The tracks Jalan, Sawaal, Na Kaho and Jeeyay have been made into videos.
