The Nunobiki Plateau Wind Farm is located within the city limits of Kōriyama, Fukushima, Japan along the side of Lake Inawashiro at an altitude of 1080 m.

The area is known for growing daikon, and farmland is mixed in within the generators. During winter, roads are closed due to large snowfall and there are no permanent residents on the plateau. The station is to be the largest wind generating station in Japan, and has a 68.98 MW output when finished with 33 wind turbines, type Enercon E-70. It generates enough power for approximately 35,000 houses.[1]
