Buttermilk pie

Buttermilk pie is a traditional custard-like pie of the southern United States. It is made with a pastry crust, and filled with a mixture of eggs, sugar, buttermilk, butter, etc. and cooked till the mixture sets. It is related to chess pie and pecan pie
