Westinghouse High School (Chicago)

George Westinghouse High School is a public high school located at 3301 West Franklin Boulevard in Chicago, Illinois. It is currently in the transition to becoming a selective college preparatory school and magnet vocational school. Westinghouse was originally housed in a former candy factory. That building was designed by Schmidt, Garden and Martin in 1920 and was one of the largest examples of the Chicago School architectural style. Westinghouse's Boy's Basketball glory years started with Hall of Fame coaching legend, Frank V. Lollino Sr. In addition to coaching the 3 NBA All-Stars listed (Aguirre, Hawkins and Johnson), he developed numerous Division One athletes (Skip Dillard, Bernard Randolph, etc).
