Joseph Wright (rower)

Joseph Walter Harris Wright (January 14, 1864 – October 18, 1950) was a Canadian rower who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics and 1908 Summer Olympics.

In 1904 he was a member of Canadian boat, which won the silver medal in the eights.

Four years later he was a member of Canadian boat, which won the bronze medal in the eights.

Again four years later at the 1912 Summer Olympics, he was a coach of the Canadian eights crew.

His son Joseph Wright, Jr., who's coach he also was, won a silver medal in the double sculls competition at the 1928 Summer Olympics.
