BBC Radio " becoming the youngster presenter in the stations' history.Senior producers quickly recognized his relaxed on-air persona and fast tracked him into regional "
BBC TV " again in the sports field where his successes included Football, Rugby, European Tour golf motor racing and horse racing. His interview technique won him many plaudits and eventually caught the eye of Newcastle Utd football club who were looking for a face to front up their newly launched TV channel.
