[http://www.tacomaweekly.com/article/792/1 Charles D. Milligan] left the Tacoma School District, he announced his resignation on June 21st, 2007. From negotiations settled on June 29th's school board meeting, he remained employed until August 1, 2007. Rickman noted the district would be look into getting an interim superintendent while a search for a new one is conducted. Dr. Art Jarvis was subsequently named interim superintendent.
