Amy Pearson (born 10 September 1986 in Birmingham, England) is a musician now living in Australia. She is currently best known for her single "Don't Miss You" which was charting in the top 20 on the Australian Aria Charts. Her debut album "Who I Am" was set to be released in November 2007, however it was pushed back to April after it was announced that Australian major artists Kylie Minogue and Delta Goodrem would also release albums in November. "Not Me" was Amy's second single being released to radio on 24 October and as a single on 20 October in Australia.

Career

She began singing at the age of 3 and started writing songs at the age of 6.

Whilst working at a production company in 2003, Amy came to the attention of Gary Barlow of Take That. Barlow initiated global industry introductions that had her working closely with SonyBMG Australia's future A&R director. As a result, Amy moved to Australia and signed to SonyBMG at 18 years of age. Amy commenced work on her debut album, writing music for over 70 songs. Amy has collaborated with international artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson, Delta Goodrem and Pink, as well as producers and song writers including Matthew Gerard, Wayne Rodriguez and Tom Nicholls.

Pearson attended the world premiere for Lord Richard Attenborough's film "Closing the Ring", for which she sings the main single "Lost Without Your Love", which she stated will be released in 2008. In early 2008, Amy starred in television commercials on Australian network 7 singing "Ready to Fly". The advertisement digitally places her atop the Great Wall of China, endorsing the commencement of the 2008 Olympic Games.
