Tibbermore is a small village situated about 4 miles west of Perth, Scotland. Its parish extends to Ruthven [http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/PER/Tibbermore/index.html] however the church building is now only used occasionally for weddings and funerals.

Previously known as Tippermuir, it was the site of a not inconsiderable battle between the Duke of Montrose and an army of Covenanters [http://www.scotwars.com/html/textonly/battle_of_tippermuir.htm] .

The church building is in a poor state of repair but restoration is being considered see link [http://www.srct.org.uk/tibbermore.html]
