The Lake Kurumoi rainbowfish (Melanotaenia parva) is a species of freshwater fish in the Melanotaeniidae family. It is endemic to West Papua in Indonesia. Its natural habitat is only the small Lake Kurumoi. It is threatened by habitat loss.
