"Greatest Hits" is the first greatest hits compilation released by country music artist Lorrie Morgan. It features the previously unreleased tracks "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" and "Back in Your Arms Again", which peaked at #1 and #4, respectively, on the "Billboard" Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts in 1995, and "Standing Tall", which rose to #32 in early 1996. The rest of the album consists of two hits from "Leave the Light On", three from "Something in Red", two from "Watch Me", and the #13 duet with Morgan's then husband Keith Whitley, "'Til a Tear Becomes a Rose", which originally appeared on Whitley's own "Greatest Hits" album in 1990. Morgan's album reached a peak of #5 on the Top Country Albums chart and #46 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts.
