The Balsas Splitfin (Ilyodon whitei) is a species of fish in the Goodeidae family. It is endemic to Mexico.
It includes the Chacambero Splitfin or Lennon's Splitfin (named after John Lennon), formerly treated as distinct species I. lennoni. It is not clear, however, whether it is a color morph or a distinct subspecies, or in fact a cryptic species complex.
