The song was written by Jay Malinowski, Eon Sinclair and Pat Pengelly, and produced by Darryl Jenifer for the band's third album "Street Gospels" (2007). The song was released as the album's first single in August 2007. According to HMV, the album was a #1 best-seller in Canada soon after its release.
