The Courthouse Theater Company is a 501(c)7 nonprofit Rhode Island corporation headquartered in Narragansett, Rhode Island [http://www.rules.state.ri.us/corporations/corp_search/index.php?help=active_detail&CORP_ID=156348] . The company presented its first show, Rumors, in 2005 and became an official corporation in 2006. The company comprises about twenty college-age actors, actresses, and business staff.
The company’s director is Christopher J. Simpson, a Princeton University student and Rhode Island native. Other Board members include Emily Greenhalgh (vice president), Christopher Barrett (treasurer & secretary), Jillian Thacher, Spencer Curry, Lily Mathews, and Nick O’Brien. Past board members include Justin Kandler and Katie Jones.
